Copenhagen TV-Festival 2017

Wednesday, August 16th

In the evening the Crown Princess attended the opening of Copenhagen TV-Festival taking place in Skuespilhuset in Copenhagen. As guest of honor she was warmly welcomed by CEO of the festival Mette Sig and CEO of Copenhagen Film Fund Thomas Gammeltoft at the arrival. She was in a great mood with a large smile on her face. Every year the festival is taken place in Copenhagen where national- and international people are gathered, among others, to get new inspiration. The festival is one of the biggest in the industry. The evening was a little more special this year because Oscar winner Jane Campion was the one to present the two first episodes of the Australian series Top of the Late: China Girl as a Northern European premiere. The Crown Princess seemed to has enjoyed her evening in Skuespilhuset along with all the other attendances. Not that many pictures have been published, but from what I see she had a great evening.

I does not come as a surprise to me that she had chosen a black dress for the Copenhagen TV-Festival event. Quickly it was identified by Kate as a BA&SH design. It features a V-neckline, a stretch waist and a slit at front which seems a little miss-placed. Nevertheless, she looks great wearing her new black dress. Mary had accessorized her evening look with several colourful jewellery. Necklace and matching ring have been more before in February when she attended the Danish Swimming Award 2017, here. At that time she was wearing the jewellery as a match to her bright blue suit. Have to say, my eyes enjoyed that previous outfit a... bit more than this. Not that I don't like her outfit from the festival because I really do. But much is needed to outdo that other look. I still haven't found out exactly who is the designer, but a similar one has been found, here. For both necklace and ring I have had Amrita Singh in mind all the time. Well, now you know my thoughts about it. What is yours? Other than the colourful necklace and matching ring, she also wore golden jewellery from Dulong Fine Jewelry, Cartier and Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. Once again I am amazed by how she manages to combine silver and gold jewellery. Never been a fan, but a few years back I discovered how beautiful it is. As with the dress Mary wore a brand new black clutch featuring... bells. I haven't found anything similar yet. Last, but not least she stunned wearing her Alexandre Birman sandals. First seen in 2013 when she attended Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, here. A wonderful pair of shoes.
