Volunteers from The Kidney Association (Nyreforeningen) were gathered early in the morning in and around the Vor Frue Church Square in Copenhagen, to share their knowledge and information about organ donation with the Danes who embraced the new knowledge. To honor those who have already chosen to become a donor and those who have benefited from this decition, attended the association's patron Crown Princess Mary. She has been patron of The Kidney Association since 2005. So it was obviously that she had been invited to the honoring. Mary arrived as usual in a great mood, welcomed by representatives from the association such as patients. In first row Mary sat on the stage and listened interested to speeches held by ambassador Anne Grethe Bjarup Riis, politician and health spokesperson for De Radikale Camilla Hersom and Karin Friis Bach from Regional Hovedstaden. Before she met the press, photographers and journalists, she lit the first of many candles placed on the church square in front of Vor Frue which we all know from the day Frederik and Mary got married in 2004. She also helped some of the former patients with their candles. Kind of a moment of silence to honor all of those who chose organ donation and have helped a lot of people bringing life back. A beautiful gesture.

I think it both was a caring and good-looking Mary we saw attending The Kidney Day 2014. Summer has really not arrived to Denmark yet, still I'm thrilled to see some bright and light colours. At least one. This is an amazing way wearing black, if you like that, with a little sparkle because the bobble gum pink Prada jacket makes the black outfit underneath look even more smashing. Oh... I just love that jacket! I like how she accessorized her look with statement pieces on top of a simple black base. She brings the accessory to life. I do not know about you, but my eyes keep staring at every little detail featuring this outfit, like the stunning Christian Louboutin pumps. Isn't they just a great match   with that jacket? Anything else worth mentioning? -hm... yes of course the snake printed scarf. Right now I can't remember if we have seen it before or if this is the first time. Lovely as it is I haven found the right one yet. I was told that Stella McCartney could have designed the scarf and with what I found during my search, I think this could be correct. Please, take a look at the link below and tell me what you think? Any similarities. Embracing a classic spring outfit in Denmark, Mary wore jewellery matching the rest of her outfit with earrings and a bracelet from Marianne Dulong, one from Shamballa Jewels and of course two diamond rings by Ole Lynggaard Copenhagen. So beautiful! How come, I almost forgot to tell you where that gorgeous black clutch is from. A while ago my dear friend Pernille managed to track down the designer which happened to be Quidam. Comes in several colours and most of them are owned by Mary. Am I right if I say this would do perfect for a day at work?
